Today’s bounty is epic. The first tomatoes! Juicy strawberries! Spring roots! Meyer lemons! Ripe stone fruit!

For tomorrow’s lunch in the garden I’ll have some sliced nectarines and apricots over creamy Burrata, with a chiffonade of fresh basil, a drizzle of Ratto’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a shake of Balsamic vinegar, salt n pepper. Voila. I’m also going to roast some Broccolini in the oven, served with shaved Meyer lemon zest and grated salted duck egg. Oh and a glass of Muscadet ;).

Our product shelves are lined with some gorgeous new products from Italy, Spain and beyond. Come in and set yourself up with some delicious provisions. Wines, cheeses, chocolate, chorizo, canned fish, condiments, spices, breads, jam, cookies, crackers, salt cod, pate, and so much more.

We are thrilled to try each and every one of these delights. Meanwhile, takes some home and try for yourselves.

Farro

This easy meal is a great solution for when your cupboards are empty. All you need is Bartolini Umbrian Farro, some stock (we LOVE the Fattoria Italia Porcini Boullion), and whatever else you happen to have lying around. We carry plenty of choices, like this nice tuna-based antipasti that could be mixed in. The best part is it takes just a half hour and whatever you happen to want to put in it.  Just be sure to keep some Farro around, as its toothsome chewy whole grain goodness will rock your taste buds, your time line and the improvisor among us.
